ESG Philosophy

The ESG philosophy emphasizes the importance of enterprises focusing on ecological and environmental protection, fulfilling social responsibilities, and enhancing governance standards. Embracing ESG philosophy and promoting sustainable development is SVG's "era proposition" and "value consensus".

 

Environmental Protection

SVG is dedicated to the green development of core technologies and processes, implementing the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" strategy. Leveraging the advantages of micro-nano photonics and flexible manufacturing technologies, we harness the impact of micro-nano structured surface materials on the environment (light, wind, heat, etc.) to enhance light energy utilization, reduce ambient temperature, minimize material usage, and achieve zero emissions, thereby fostering a low-carbon footprint in the development and application of products across multiple industries.
  • The asymmetric micro-nano structure of ultra-thin photonic devices enables LCD display lighting to save energy (power savings >15%) and consume less material (savings of over 30%).
  • 3D image transfer materials: These materials, employed in global brand packaging, facilitate de-plasticization and recyclability, significantly reducing plastic film usage and eliminating VOC emissions throughout the entire process. This technology eliminates the use of organic solvents and carbon emissions altogether. If adopted across the entire industry, it could annually reduce tens of thousands of tons of CO2 emissions and lower energy consumption by 80% during production.
  • Smart surface texture materials integrate sensing, texture, and light, enabling electric vehicles' interior and exterior decorations to be more material-efficient and energy-saving. Reducing the use of "large, bulky, and clumsy" component materials enhances driving intelligence and safety.
  • Our unique micro-nano additive manufacturing process for transparent electronics enables "zero-emission" production of large-area flexible microcircuits, resulting in larger capacitive touch sensor screens that operate with lower driving voltages and power consumption (from 20V to 3V).
  • Radiative cooling materials combine micro-nano ceramics with nano imprinting to achieve mass production of high-performance radiative cooling materials. During midday, objects covered with these cooling materials can experience a temperature drop of 8-10°C, with an average cooling energy savings of >100W/m2. When applied to containers, warehousing, and construction, these materials can save up to hundreds of billions of yuan in energy annually.

Fighting epidemics and disaster relief

During the COVID-19 pandemic, SVG fulfilled its social responsibility by donating anti-pandemic supplies such as medical protective clothing and N95 masks to the workers fighting in the front line. SVG donated 200,000 reflective vests produced by its subsidiary Changzhou Hua R Sheng to the Red Cross and other related organizations to enhance the safety of front-line enforcers who work on pandemic prevention and control at night, demonstrating its dedication and commitment to contributing to pandemic prevention and control.
